While some may think the iPhone is the "Jesus Phone", I really don't.
The iPhone is just a device that Apple could create, with it's extensive media background.
I mean, Apple had all the right ingredients; a full touch screen, the iTunes media player and the trendy Apple logo that helps all their products sell.
3 years after the iPhone was released, is it really "revolutionary" or is it just convenient now?
The most recent iPhone, the 3GS, just added things that a lot of phones have. A video camera, MMS, Cut & Paste and Voice Control.
Also, the home screen and menus are just so vanilla. If I another iPhone black menu screen or white scrolling menu, I'll just... I don't know...
Don't get me wrong, I love the iPhone. Its the most convenient deceive on the market for sure.
The App Store is great and so is the threaded messaging. I have threaded messaging on my Blackjack II too.
I just can't get past the full touch screen. I used to think a full touch screen is awesome and fun but I need to text. A lot. Normally when I text I do it without looking at my cell phone, to save time and not get caught it class. With a full touch screen, I can't do that anymore.
This is just my take on the iPhone. You don't have to agree, just subscribe!
The difference between the iPhone, Blackberry, and Palm is simple... the iPhone does everything well. Music? Check. Movies? Check. Awesome apps? Check. Best digitial media store? Check.
ReplyDeleteFor me, the touch screen is just as awesome as everything else on the phone. There's a reason they haven't really upgraded the basic look and feel of the phone in two years... it's as close to perfect as a phone could get.
Oh, yeah. I think the iPhone is a great device but Apple is the most innovative company and the basic look isn't so "innovative" anymore.
ReplyDeleteI think next June when they'll probably release the 4Gen iPhone, it'll be a home run.
